Just a half hour from Tallahassee heading eastbound and this rest area is one of Florida's better ones. I like that there are not only separate areas for cars and trucks, but there is a second loop of "picnic areas" that are even further back from the road. Trees here are quite tall so if you're looking to get a nap in the shade, this is possible.
Restrooms, vending machines, picnic tables, a payphone and a spot to walk your dog. This is good!
Lots of truck parking. The floor in the bathroom stalls are all wet and disgusting.
Hey, its an Interstate Rest Stop. It was clean and well maintained when we were there November 2022.
